The EDC-CEG in association with AIESEC in Chennai organized a session “The Youth to Business mini” [y2b mini] on 30 september 2014 at 3pm in the Henry Maulsday hall.
With an appreciable number of students in attendance, the session focussed on the the various dimensions of entrepreneurship, leadership and global connectivity. The speaker for the evening was Mrs. Kalyani Hariharan, founder “Master Mind Academy” - an all women’s organization and “Metamorphosis” - a learning institute for empowerment. She is also a music enthusiast and soft skills trainer.
The session was extremely interactive with a lot of exchange of efficient and workable ideas and statergies for the young minds with entrepreneurial interests. The primary focus of the speech were the various aspects of leadership - inclusive of the skills required, how the simple task of ‘asking’ can help a great deal, the unsaid guidelines for an effective leader and much more. The session then shifted attention to the importance of acquiring knowledge and means to do it.
The event which lasted for over two hours was an extremely interesting and useful one for those who wished to realize their entrepreneurial dream and reach the next level.
