The Topaz glow of
The morning sun hit
The Sapphire mirror
Of the lake to get reflected
On the swathe blanket
Of Emerald grass dotted
With Ruby red flowers
And diamond dewdrops
The sun turned Citrine,
Shining over Aventurine shrubs
And Opal buds at noon.
The West, well lit,
Glows over Peridot leaflings
Scattering Agate circles of
The evening sun.
The sky is now a deep
Tanzanite, with a full moon pearl
Dominating quartz stars.
Alas, all these gems
Adorn my mother's corpse,
To accompany her on her
Journey to the afterlife.
Well, mother's name is Nature
